Dental Crowns

We typically book two appointments to complete a crown. At the first appointment, the tooth is shaped to the desired dimensions and a high quality intra oral scan is performed which is sent to the lab to fabricate the crown. In the meantime, a temporary crown is placed to protect the remaining tooth. At the second appointment, the laboratory fabricated crown is tried in and all of the margins and bite marks are checked. Once this is confirmed and the patient is happy with the aesthetics of the crown, it is permanently cemented.
